Letters of John G. Swearingen, 1864 and 1930.

In two letters, 1864, John G. Swearingen writes home about his job in Navy ammunition supplies, a possible bombardment of Charleston, S.C., a plan to blow up a railroad bridge, and life after the war. There is also a brochure, ca. 1930, for a Charlottesville rooming house.
